Softball’s Fab Four take home All-American awards for the USCAA

HIALEAH, Fla. (May 10, 2026) — Conquistador softball's (26-17) Gianna Hall, Sophia White, Brunella Beteta and Alyssa Julien were named All-Americans across all three teams by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). Hall and White were first team selections, while Beteta and Julien were second team and honorable mention honorees, respectively.

Hall was a stellar player for FNU during the regular season, becoming FNU's home run leader in 2026 with eight. She paced the team in hits (36) and RBIs (34), en route to breaking the record for the most home runs in a regular season.

White was a consistent force from the circle in her junior season, entering DuBois, Pa., with a 2.56 ERA, a 13-7 record, and a team-high 89 strikeouts. Offensively, she's also batting .250 with 17 hits in 2026.

Beteta was the other half of FNU's one-two-punch from the circle this season on her way to a second team selection. The senior from Lima, Peru, has a 1.84 ERA, a 12-9 record, and 77 strikeouts in over 130 innings pitched.

Julien posted an honorable mention from the USCAA behind stellar catching and hitting from the senior from Jacksonville, Fla. Julien heads to the USCAA Championship batting .302, 38 hits and an on-base percentage of .405.

Notably, FNU's Wesley Pollock, Sydni Bigelli, Monica Eihardt and Stephani Moore were honored as the 2026 USCAA Softball Coaching Staff of the Year.

FNU looks for a championship in the USCAA Small College World Series, taking on PSU Fayette on May 11 at 6 p.m. to kick off its tournament run in DuBois, Pa.
