Conquistador softball crowns four new USCAA All-Americans

HIALEAH, Fla. (May 12, 2025) — Florida National University softball was honored with four selections across three United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-American Teams.

Newcomer Alissia Vega was a first team honoree while Gianna Hall and Alyssa Julien were second team members. Sophomore right-handed pitcher Sophia White earned back-to-back seasons with an honorable mention ahead of the Small College World Series from May 12-15.

Vega played with great gravitas en route to FNU's lone first team selection. She posted a .302 average at the plate, a team-high 32 stolen bases and recorded 17 RBIs. Her 45 hits are the second highest on the team, and the Tampa, Fla., native played 42 games for FNU in 2025.

Hall's freshman campaign was nothing short of impressive, as the infielder from Orange City, Fla., tallied a team-high 29 RBIs and 41 hits. She also connected 13 doubles in 49 games played. Julien has proven to be a reliable hitter for the Conquistadors, posting team highs in batting average (.367) and hits (54).

White was relentless this season as the ace on FNU's deeply talented pitching staff. The Jupiter Farms, Fla., native had nine wins in 2025, a team-high 60 strikeouts, and a 2.93 ERA.

Vega, Hall, Julien and White will look to lead FNU to glory at the USCAA Small College World Series from May 12-15 in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
