Conquistadors fall in final 2025-26 exhibition

BOCA RATON, Fla. (Dec. 10, 2025) — Florida National men's basketball (4-5) dropped its final exhibition of the 2025-26 season in a 107-67 loss to NCAA DII Lynn University (6-2). Hasmar Francois and Cameron Johnson combined for 26 in just the second meeting between these two South Florida institutions. 

In the opening half, the Knights were firing from both sides of the court to take a commanding 63-30 lead at the break. Lynn tallied 15 points off turnovers in the period while John Roland and Antoine Jacks were the heartbeat of this offensive run with 12-point performances apiece. Braydon Iuli was the other Knight in double-figures with 10, and FNU struggled to get a stop and allowed 24 points in the paint and 25 points in transition. 

Johnson and Francois got started early for FNU with seven and eight points, respectively, before halftime. Jesus Rivas continued to impress with six points and two rebounds in seven minutes. Ronald Fernandez and Johnson paced FNU on the glass with four rebounds, while FNU looked to improve on a 31.4% shooting performance in the second half. 

Unfortunately, Lynn continued to shoot at an impressive rate and ended the final 20 minutes 17-43 from the floor. FNU was outscored 44-37 behind seven from Iuli and nine from Sveinn Birgisson. Francois finished his night with 14 in 25 minutes while Johnson's evening of 13 minutes produced 12 points, five rebounds and two assists. 

Notably, Fernandez had a team-high six rebounds while Gary Adams led the way with three assists.
