HIALEAH, Fla. (Nov. 11, 2025) — Florida National's Ariana Long, Ivette Sandoval and Kitula Amaya Morales swept the final Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) Women's Volleyball Players of the Week awards for the 2025 season. The three standouts led FNU to a second place finish at the 2025 United States Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Volleyball Championship last weekend.

"Morales, the Attacker of the Week, helped the Conquistadors earn runner-up honors at the 2025 United States Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Volleyball Championship last weekend," said the CAC press release Tuesday. "The Miami native tallied 57 kills and 49 digs through four matches. She also had five service aces."

"Senior Sandoval, the Setter of the Week, recorded 72 assists to go along with 26 digs at last weekend's tournament in Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania," said the CAC on Sandoval's performance. 

"Meanwhile, Long, the Defender of the Week, posted 54 digs and had six aces to go along with 42 kills to round out a strong all-around performance as Florida National had a 2-2 record in the tournament," said the CAC.

Notably, Morales and Sandoval earned All-Tournament honors from the USCAA for the first time in their FNU careers. Long, Morales and Sandoval now look to lead FNU to its first conference championship since 2021 with the tournament beginning Nov. 14.
