LAKELAND, Fla. (Oct. 3, 2025) — Florida National's Lismar Bentancourt became a two-time Runner of the Week for the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) this season, after a top-15 performance at the 26th FLRunners.com Invitational last Friday.

The Valencia, Venezuela, native previously won this accolade after a 25th-place finish at the St. Thomas Bobcat Invitational on Sept. 12

"Bentancourt, the female honoree, placed 12th at the 26th FLRunners.com Invitational last Friday in Lakeland, Florida," said the CAC's press release Monday."She covered the 6-kilometer course in 25:14.77 while competing against runners from NCAA Division II schools such as Lynn University, Palm Beach Atlantic University and Nova Southeastern University."

Bentancourt and FNU face a tight turnaround with their next race set for Oct. 11at the Ave Maria University Invitational.
