Track spreads the wealth in final regular-season meet

MIRAMAR, Fla. (April 12, 2026) — Conquistador men's and women's track recorded four personal records and seven season-best performances across eight events at the HBCU Relays Experience Saturday. Florida National's men's team placed fifth while the women ended their time at the Ansin Sports Complex in sixth.

With a team score of 50, the Conquistador men saw Marven Cassamajor amass personal records in the triple jump (11.84m) and long jump (5.77m). Runners Orane Daley and Denis Silva also set personal records in the 200-meter race (25.73) and the 5K (20:33.31), respectively. Notably, Hugo-Augustin Kluczkowski (19:48.46) and Michael Kipchumba (21:17.90) went to work in the 5K as well, with season's best runs to sandwich Silva in 9th and 11th place, respectively.

Sprinter Jordan Hall made his return to the track with an impressive outing in the 100-meter dash (11.47), while the 4x200-meter relay team of Hall, Nathaniel Jimenez, Cassamajor and Donovan Agard posted its best time of 2026 (1:31.44).

For the Conquistador women, the 100-meter dash saw the fastest times in 2026 for freshman Ganesia Bogle (13.44) and sophomore Shaniece Richardson (14.92). Keelee Okoro was stellar in the 400-meter race to pick up her fastest showing in the event this season (1:04.43).

The sophomore from Coral Springs, Fla., also helped the 4x400-meter relay team of Mia Betancourt, Savanna Duperval and Lamaria Williams post its fastest time in the last two months (4:32.85). As a team, the FNU women scored 33 points.
