FNU sweeps four CAC Track and Field Athlete of the Week awards

HIALEAH, Fla. (March 30, 2026) — Florida National's Hugo-Augustin Kluczkowski, Wenceslao Ferrin Arias, Ganesia Bogle and Mia Betancourt were awarded Athlete of the Week by the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC). Bogle and Ferrin Arias took home Field Athlete of the Week, while Kluczkowski and Betancourt were recognized as the conference's Track honorees. 

"Kluczkowski, the athlete honoree, posted a personal best 4:10.03 to place 10th in the 1,500-meter race at last Saturday's Nova Southeastern University Shark Invite," said the CAC's press release Monday. "The Dusseldorf, Germany, native competed in the event that was full of NCAA Division II runners."

"Ferrin Arias, the field recipient, placed ninth in the long jump with a personal best 5.51 leap at the Nova Southeastern University Shark Invite," said the CAC. "The Cali, Columbia, native was competing against Division II athletes."

"Betancourt, the athlete recipient, posted a personal best 2:34.73 in the 800-meter race and was a member of FNU's 4-x-400-meter relay team that posted a season best 4:34.71 at last Saturday's Nova Southeastern University Shark Invite," wrote the CAC. 

"The Miami native had a pair of impressive performances against a field full of NCAA Division II competitors."

"Bogle, the field honoree, started her collegiate career with an eighth-place finish in the long jump with a 4.53 meters leap at the Nova Southeastern University Shark Invite," said the CAC.

FNU's final regular season meet, the HBCU Relays Experience, is set for April 11 at 10 a.m.
