HIALEAH, Fla. (Nov. 17, 2025) — Florida National's
Juan Pugin,
Filipe Sette Ribeiro and
Christian Omar Hernandez were selected as 2025 Soccer All-American by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). Pugin is now an All-American for the second year in a row, while Hernandez and Ribeiro are first-time honorees.
Sette Ribeiro, a first team honoree, was exceptional in 2025, posting a team-leading 15 goals. He also became just the fourth player in university history to be named a national player of the week by the NAIA. He also recorded five assists and 35 points.
Pugin, FNU's second first team selection, captained FNU to another season of over ten wins. The junior posted four goals and eight assists in 18 matches played.
FNU's lone second team selection, Hernandez, helped FNU win crucial matches in 2025 with his defense and high IQ plays. He tallied an assist on the game-winning goal against Bellevue University, the then No. 6-ranked school in the nation. Hernandez recorded one goal, three assists and six shots in his final collegiate season.
