Track lights up Keiser University Twilight Meet

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (April 12, 2025) — The Conquistador track and field team completed a productive stay at the Keiser University Twilight Meet on April 11. FNU tallied five personal records across both teams in one of its final meets of the 2025 season.

On the women's side of the competition, FNU ended the night in ninth place out of 11 teams. This was freshman transfer Lismar Bentancourt's breakout competition this season, as she had a personal record in the 1500M (5:15.69) and the 800M (2:37.03). She placed tenth and third, respectively.

Keelee Okoro was another freshman with a solid performance, tying for fifth in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.40M.

The Conquistador men placed sixth out of 11 teams, thanks in part to strong performances from Wenceslao Ferrin Arias and Mario Martinez. Martinez showed his hops in the men's high jump, posting a PR of 1.70M for a fifth-place finish.

Ferrin Arias did his part with personal bests in the men's 110M (17.29) and 400M hurdles (1:01.90). The Cali, Colombia, native placed second and fifth, respectively.
