HIALEAH, Fla. (Nov. 3, 2025) — Florida National's Angelina Carreno and Delmis Reyes Amaya took home the final Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards for the 2025 season. FNU defeated New College of Florida last Monday behind a goal from Carreno.

Carreno is now a two-time CAC Defensive Player of the Week and Reyes Amaya picked up her first conference accolade in her three-year career with the Conquistadors. 

"Delmis, the offensive honoree, took a shot in the team's victory against New College of Florida last Monday," said the CAC's press release.

"Carreno, the defensive recipient, registered her first career match-winning goal in the Conquistadors' 1-0 triumph," said the CAC. "The tally marked just her second collegiate goal and helped the team win its second match this fall."

FNU will make its first appearance at the 2025 CAC Soccer Championship tournament from Friday, November 7, through Tuesday, November 11, at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
