How it Happened

  • The Seahawks ran out to a 14-2 lead behind their aggressive play as the team went 10-of-10 at the free throw line.
  • Keiser held Florida National without a field goal until Shannon Rosentree connected on a jumper in the paint with 6:22 remaining in the quarter.
  • The Conquistadors climbed to within 14-8 before Keiser ended the period on a 10-5 run to lead 24-13. Sanabria and Dyson combined for 15 points in the opening quarter.
  • KU opened the second quarter on a 10-0 run, claiming their largest lead of the half, 35-15 with 4:03 showing on the scoreboard.
  • The teams traded baskets down the stretch with the Seahawks leading 42-23 at the halftime break.
  • Keiser outscored Florida National 21-7 in the opening eight minutes while holding the Conquistadors without a field goal to lead 63-28. The Seahawks opened the period with ten straight points.
  • The Seahawks would go on to take a 70-34 advantage into the final ten minutes of regulation.
  • KU kept their foot on the pedal during the fourth quarter, outscoring their opponents, 29-24 to come away with the 99-58 home victory. KU led by a game-best 44 points at the 6:15 mark of the quarter.
