HIALEAH, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2024) - Florida National University's men's basketball team (8-12) added another much-needed Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) win over the Morris College Hornets on Feb. 7. The Conquistadors' 83-73 victory marks the second time this season FNU has bested the hornets, as the Conquistadors claimed an 87-78 win at Bucky Dent Park on Jan. 24. 

FNU's Jovan Debrito was electric for the Conquistadors with 33 points while Ray Daniel Parrish went a perfect 10-10 from the free-throw line en route to ending the night with 20. Center Jonathan Mills saw important minutes on the floor, posting 10 points and knocking down all four of his shots from the charity stripe.

The Hornets had trouble forcing FNU turnovers, as the Conquistadors only coughed up the ball four times through both halves.
