Lakeland, Fla. – Southeastern University defeats Florida National University on the road.

Game One – SEU 11, FNU 3

In the bottom of the 1st, the Fire starts the scoring after E. Stahl singles. The Conquistadors take the lead in the top of the 5th scoring three runs, but it was not enough as Southeastern were about to take control scoring 10 runs in the bottom of the 5th to conclude the game after 5 innings.

Kyra Sunga pitched 4.2 innings giving up 17 hits.

Game Two – SEU 9, FNU 1

The Fire of Southeastern started off the scoring with a sacrifice bunt to get the first run in. Then followed up with two more runs in the third, five more in the fifth, and one more run in the 6th. The Conquistadors would score a solo home run by Megan Johnson.

Gabryella Hay pitched 5.0 innings. G. Hay taking the loss and giving up 10 hits.

The Conquistador's overall record moves to 26-15.

FNU will host Webber International University in Miami, Fla on Wednesday, April 20.
