Sydni Bigelli Headshot 2025

Sydni Bigelli

Sydni Bigelli has spent the last six years as a softball player and graduate assistant for Florida National University. A native of Warwick, Rhode Island, Bigelli is a two-time USCAA Small College World Series Champion and an integral part of FNU's softball program.

As a player, Bigelli excelled in the outfield and was a member of the Conquistadors during back-to-back SCWS title runs in 2021 and 2022 under then-head coach John Pryor. At the NAIA level, Bigelli was a part of the 2024 Conquistador team that qualified for the program's first trip to the NAIA Tournament with head coach Wesley Pollock.

Bigelli was in a Conquistador uniform for four seasons before transitioning to the graduate assistant position on Pollock’s staff in 2025. In her debut, FNU earned an impressive runner-up finish at the 2025 USCAA Small College World Series. FNU went 4-2 during its stay in DuBois, Pa., before the end of the 2025 season, and Bigelli helped coach her team to four USCAA All-American honors, 10 USCAA National All-Academic selections and eight Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) all-conference members.

Bigelli earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida National in 2024 and is pursuing a Masters in Forensic Psychology.
