Jaques Calderon Isdra

Jaques Calderon Isdra brings multiple years of experience to his role as an assistant coach for Florida National’s women’s soccer team. Calderon worked as head coach in Florida for over five years before joining Gonzalo Rudolf’s staff in the Fall of 2025.

Prior to FNU, Calderon spent two seasons as an assistant coach for the NCAA Division II Barry University Buccaneers. He’s worked with pro-level athletes in his native Brazil, lending his talents to various academies in his native country. Moreover, he served as a technical director for one of the best academies in his state, Rio Grande do Sul.

Locally, Calderon is no stranger to the club soccer scene, coaching for more than five different programs in the Miami area. 

Calderon graduated from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), one of the best universities in Brazil. He also earned a Master's in Soccer Expertise from the Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV). 

Notably, Calderon holds a B License from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
