Dyquan Dixon

Dyquan “Dee” Dixon enters his first season as an assistant men’s basketball coach for Florida National University, bringing over a decade of coaching experience, player development expertise and a strong background in grassroots basketball.

Dixon began his coaching career at North Miami High School, spending six seasons helping establish a competitive program. During his tenure, the Pioneers captured four district championships and made three regional finals appearances.

Following his success at North Miami, Dixon joined the coaching staff at South Dade High School as an assistant. His four seasons with the Buccaneers saw him play an instrumental role in rebuilding the basketball team from the ground up, transforming a three-win program into a 20-win powerhouse that earned an appearance in the Greater Miami Athletic Conference (GMAC) tournament.

Beyond high school basketball, Dixon is the founder and head coach of 305 Elite Basketball, a basketball organization dedicated to developing student-athletes and creating opportunities for college recruitment and exposure. His coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, accountability, skill development, academic achievement and preparing student-athletes for success beyond basketball.

With 10 years of experience as an NCAA Gold Licensed Coach, Dixon has established himself within the local basketball community and seeks to grow Conquistador basketball at the national level.
