Andrea Guzman Granada has been a part of Florida National University’s tennis program since its inaugural season in 2018.

A native of Villavicencio, Colombia, Guzman played every season from 2018 to 2022 and was team captain during her final two years. In 2022, Guzman competed in the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Tournament in Montgomery, Ala. She earned key victories against strong universities within the conference, marking one of the most memorable moments of her collegiate career.

Academically, Guzman earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and graduated magna cum laude in 2022. She was a consistent presence on the dean’s list and received United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-Academic honors each year of her career.

Following her graduation, Guzman joined FNU’s athletic staff as a graduate assistant in Fall 2022 while pursuing a Master’s in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. During her time in this position, she supported the tennis program on and off the court, assisting with practices, recruitment and admissions.

Guzman completed her degree in industrial psychology summa cum laude in August 2024 and is pursuing a second Master’s in Forensic Psychology, continuing her work as a graduate assistant through the 2025-2026 season.
