A dozen FNU teams earn NAIA Scholar Team honors

HIALEAH, Fla. (May 26, 2026) — Florida National concludes the 2025-26 academic year with 12 teams eligible for Scholar Team honors by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Notably, men's basketball scored back-to-back seasons with a GPA over 3.0, while women's tennis led the way with a 3.79 team GPA.

As a whole, Florida National's cumulative department GPA stood at 3.29, a minor drop from its best-ever showing of 3.32 in 2024-25. Softball and men's tennis posted 3.60 team averages to round out the top-three, as baseball impressed with a 3.51 varsity GPA.
