CORAL GABLES, Fla. (March 18, 2023) – Florida National University's Maryam Abreu and David Bellefleur impressed at the University of Miami Hurricane Invitational on March 18. 

The sophomore sensation continues a trail-blazing 2023 campaign with a school record-breaking time of 4:02.91 in the men's 1500m. Bellefleur's time landed him in ninth place in a loaded competition stacked with NCAA Division I talent such as Mississippi State, Louisiana State University, and UM. 

Abreu put up a solid performance in the women's 1500m posting a time of 5:08.91 for a fifteenth-place finish.
